Annual Business Expo -- Yardley Business Association
April 16, 2011

The Yardley Business Association (YBA) is gearing up for its annual business expo at the Yardley Community Center on April 16 from 2 to 5 p.m.

“We hold this event to promote business in Yardley,” said YBA board of directors member Dave Goodwin. “A business will be able to come in and showcase its products and what it does.”

Bobbie Moore and Sue Fagan – along with Goodwin – are in charge of the event's preparation and expect 30 to 40 tables at this year’s showcase. There is limited table placement available so the YBA is requesting that all businesses seeking to reserve a spot at the showcase contact them immediately.

Arrangements can be made for extra table space, if specified. Exhibitors are also asked to set up around 1 p.m. and no later than 1:45 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public. There will be no charge for food and will be provided by area restaurants, including Canal Street Grille, the New Continenetal Tavern, Charcoal BYOB and Vincent’s Pizza.

The Face & Body Spa and Action Karate will also be hosting live demonstrations during the exhibit. The YBA is also considering live entertainment in some capacity.

“We encourage everyone and anyone in Yardley to come and help promote business in our community,” Goodwin said. “You will have the opportunity to see stores and people that you normally wouldn’t be able to.”
